Vib also provides guests with the convenience of mobile check-in services, “grab and go” snack station and fitness center to recharge their batteries.
“At Best Western we understand that today’s independently-minded guests demand a high degree of convenience and connectivity. That’s why we developed Vib – an ultra-modern hotel concept that focuses on the needs of millennial travelers,” explained Olivier Berrivin, Best Western Hotels & Resorts’ Managing Director of International Operations – Asia.
“I am delighted to be able to announce the first Vib hotel in Myanmar, located in the fast-growing city of Yangon. It is incredibly fitting that we are launching this exciting new hotel concept in one of the world’s most exciting and dynamic destinations.
The decision to launch its first Vib hotel in Myanmar reflects Best Western’s long-term commitment to this rapidly-emerging country. In 2013, Best Western became one of the first global hotel companies to open in Myanmar, following the country’s re-emergence onto the international stage. It has since expanded to a portfolio of three operating hotels, located in Yangon and Mandalay, with several more in the pipeline.
