Thailand Events Calendar – June 2017

JUNE 2017 – EVENTS CALENDAR

1 June – 31 August 2017
Siam Tulip Field Festival
Where: Pa Hin Ngam National Park Thep Sathit District and Sai Thong National Park, Chaiyaphum
Visit a variety of exhibitions and go shopping OTP products. Enjoy a magnificent view of Siam Tulip field and across the border and Lan Hin Ngam (beautiful rock field) in Pa Hin Ngam National Park.

2 – 4 June 2017
Laguna Phuket International Marathon
Where: Bang Tao Laguna Beach, Phuket
This annual marathon race includes full marathon, 10 km half-marathon, 5 km walking marathon and 2 km kid marathon.

10 – 12 June 2017
Rocket Festival and Thai Mask Festival at Na Sao Subdistrict
Where: Ban Na Sao, Na Sao Subdistrict, Chiang Khan District, Loei
Watch the Thai mask parade, local dances, folk play and rocket festival.

11 – 15 June 2017
Chao Pho Lak Mueang Procession, Samut Sakhon
Where: Beside the dam of Chao Pho Lak Mueang shrine, Samut Sakhon
Pay respect to Chao Pho Lak Mueang and watch the grand procession of Chao Pho Lak Mueang on land and by the river and free entertainments.

15 June – 15 August 2017
Amazing Thailand Grand Sale
Where: Shopping malls, hotels, restaurants and tourist destination that participated in the event all over the country.
Meet Thailand’s biggest midyear sale where department stores, retail stores and many other entrepreneurs offer the best deals for variety of goods and services.

18 June 2017
The 13th Lan Saka Marathon
Where: In front of Lan Saka district office,Lan Saka district, Nakhon Si Thammarat
Attend a marathon race from Lan Saka district to Ron Pibun district then heading back to Lan Saka district.

18 – 19 June 2017
Koh Tao Festival
Where: Sairee Beach, Ko Tao, Surat Thani
Join Corporate Social Responsibility Activities: Planting coral, picking up garbage under the sea, releasing turtles to the sea, One Free Day: Doing good deeds for one day, Ko Tao diving school reunion and exhibitions about sea protection and conservation by local organizations and communities. The event also offers environmetal-friendly diving lesson packages and variety of music and performances.

21 June 2017
Sea Marathon to Ko Phithak
Where: In front of HTMS Chakri Naruebet Model, Pak Nam Lang Suan, Lang Suan Chumphon
The event consists of 14 km mini marathon, 3.5 km Fun-Run, bicycle race, prize presentation ceremony, homestay and squid fishing.

21 – 27 June 2017
Inthakhin City Pillar Festival 2017
Where: Wat Chedi Luang Worawihan the royal temple, Chiang Mai
The event consists of chanting celebration prayer of Intakin City Pillar, flower bowl arranging, sprinkle water on Fon-Saen-Ha Buddha image (Hundred Thousand Rain), pay respect to Pra Buddha Attarod (standing Buddha image), sprinkle water on The Main Buddha Relics Pagoda. Watch Lanna style traditional performances.
