Pragma Hospitality Signs Hotel Management Agreement with Eco Inn Hotel Group

Bangkok (Thailand) – November 11, 2019 (travelindex) – The newly-formed Pragma Hospitality Co., Ltd has signed management agreement with the Eco Inn Hotel Group to altogether manage an existing portfolio of 6 hotels.

Pragma Hospitality will be operating the hotels with modern technologies and techniques implemented by experienced corporate management team, in order to generate maximum operating profits for their owner. This signing of the management agreement serves as a significant stepping stone for Pragma Hospitality, allowing the recently-established management company a strong foothold in the hotel management sector.

The Eco Inn Hotel Group consist of six properties strategically located in second tier cities in Thailand to serve the fast-growing number of domestic and foreign travelers wishing to experience the beauty of the country away from the main tourist hot-spots. Eco Inn Group was founded in 2010 by Mr. Suporn Thammaraks and a group of close friends who saw the need for simple, economical hotels all around the country to support domestic tourism and make hotel stays affordable for everyone. The hotels are in Trang, Nakhon Sri Thammarat, Chantaburi, Ubon Ratchathani, and Mae Sot provinces.

The Eco Inn Hotel Group has been successfully operating these hotels for a number of years but welcomes the introduction of management expertise from Pragma Hospitality, allowing the group to concentrate on the development of more hotels in Thailand. Pragma Hospitality will ensure that the Eco Inn brand will achieve success in the budget hotel segment and competes effectively with larger rival brands across second tier locations. It will also be supporting the creation of a portfolio of hotels that is both scalable and recognizable throughout the region.

“The signing of the hotel management agreement for Eco Inn Hotel Group is an exciting milestone for our company, which was founded with the idea to disrupt and change the hotel management world,” commented Mr. Alexander Wallace, CEO of Pragma Hospitality.

“As a lean operator with no brand focus, we can concentrate on what matters to the owners: performance and communication. We see the Eco Inn brand as a great model with potential to be scaled, therefore we are working closely with the owner to expand the brand efficiently with the goal to become a major player in Thailand’s budget hotel segment,” he explained further.

“I am ecstatic to have joined hands with Pragma Hospitality for the management of our hotels that have kept me and my friends so busy for many years. As the markets and operations are constantly changing, we needed management with vision and expertise in the hotel management and development industry. We have full faith and trust in the professional team of Pragma Hospitality and looking forward to future success,” commented Mr. Suporn Thammaraks, Managing Director of The Eco Inn Hotel Group.

About Pragma Hospitality
Pragma Hospitality Co., Ltd was founded by a team of industry professionals who saw the need for fundamental changes in the way hotel management agreements are structured and implemented – something that has changed very little over the past 50 years. Management companies have traditionally locked hotel owners into long and complicated arrangements which are rarely in the best interests of the owner. That can result in the overlooking of many key factors involved in running a successful hotel operation, simply because they do not directly benefit the operator.

With Pragma Hospitality focusing on Owner Relationships, Hotel Operations, Financial Control, and Hotel Distribution, it is possible to introduce simpler hotel management agreements which provide Shorter Terms and Simpler Termination with no Brand Standards. This allows the hotel owners to maintain much tighter control over their own property, as well as ensuring that the activities of the management company are designed to maximize the benefits for both parties to the agreement.
